Privacy notice
Last reviewed 12 August 2026
This notice explains what Vaultspin Games (“we”) collects when you use vaultspingames.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it. We have kept it readable on purpose.
1. What we collect
Things you give us
- Account details. Email address, a password stored only as a hash, and your date of birth together with your confirmation that you are 21 or over.
- Messages. If you contact support, whatever you choose to put in the form.
Things collected automatically
- Server logs. IP address, browser and device type, pages requested and timestamps — used to keep the site running and to investigate abuse.
- Browser storage. A single preference recording that you dismissed the storage notice, and, while you are signed in, a marker that keeps you signed in for the life of the tab.
We do not collect payment information, because nothing on this platform can be bought.
2. Why we use it
- To run the service: your account, standings, badges and favourites.
- To enforce the 21+ age restriction.
- To answer you when you get in touch.
- To protect the platform against fraud, abuse and security threats.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Cookies and browser storage
The site itself sets no advertising or analytics cookies. What it stores is limited to the two items described above, both first-party and both removable by clearing your browser data.
If this changes — for example if we later add advertising measurement — this section will say so explicitly before it goes live, and it will be listed here rather than mentioned vaguely elsewhere.
4. Third-party games
The titles on Vaultspin are operated by third-party game studios. Nothing is requested from them until you press launch on a game. When you do, your browser connects directly to the studio’s service, which will necessarily receive technical information such as your IP address and device type in order to deliver the game, and may set its own functional cookies. That processing is governed by the studio’s own privacy terms.
If you never launch a title, no third-party connection is made from this site.
5. How long we keep things
Account data is kept while the account is open. Ask us to close it and we delete or anonymise your personal information within 30 days, except where law requires us to keep something longer. Server logs are retained for up to 12 months.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict how we use it. Ask via support and we will respond within the period applicable law allows. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
7. Under-21s
The platform is for adults aged 21 and over and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe a minor holds an account, tell us and we will remove it.
8. Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit, passwords are stored hashed, and access to systems is limited to people who need it. No service can promise perfect security, but we keep these measures current and proportionate.
9. International transfers
Our infrastructure may sit outside your country. Where personal information crosses a border we rely on the safeguards recognised by applicable data protection law.
10. Changes
Material changes will be reflected in the review date above and, where significant, flagged on the site before taking effect.
